Got back from Italia 2 days ago. It was super fun except for the airport. Delta=basically hell. I slept for a long time and didn't go to school on Monday. People, please send me pictures. Like really.
My birthday's on Thursday, but it pretty much sucks because I've got Youth Legislature. My dad said I might get a car sometime in the next couple of months. Hopefully that means next week, but I doubt it.

Wow, I've read like 10. That is 9%. I'm really, really excited. Really.

So, like, stuff. Mock Trial last weekend = fun but v-period unrewarding. Like, I wanted to win. Hellsing is, like, the coolest show alive. More forensics this weekend=joy! in a sarcastic tone. it is pretty fun though. I usually laugh like crazy, in a muffled fashion, which the kids take to be encouraging but really it just means they're pathetic. poor naive children. classes for next year=i don't know what to do about science. maybe i just won't take one. chorus competition next week, and mrs. ebelhar turns out to be the reincarnation of hitler. i still despise ms. edge with all of my being. that's pretty much it.

Yesterday I went to the mall with Jennifer and watched Ocean's Twelve. It was really good. I really need a car, like when I get my license, because my dad is opposed to me having fun in any way, shape, or form, mainly because the world revolves around him. It actually does; I've seen it.

So, wow. This week was pretty okay, like everything's pretty easy and I've decided to start actually trying in Algebra. Conor finally gave back that book he stole, which was good, but Andrea's in the Phillipines, which sucks for me but rocks for her. Mock Trial=wow I'm going to dominate, and Science Olympiad is beneath my contempt. Morrissey dominates my life.

Went to the mall yesterday with Andrea, and Courtenay who I haven't seen in forever. Jennifer couldn't come because she didn't have a ride, and my dad is really egocentric. We walked around, and Andrea and Courtenay supported capitalism at Hot Topic, and then we all supported capitalism at the movies. We saw Lemony Snicket. It was really, really awful.
Skip this part if you don't want to be spoiled, or just don't care:
Everything Wrong with the Lemony Snicket Movie, in an orderly, numerical format:
1. Where the hell were Klaus's glasses? He looked like a Gap model. Which would be okay, but he didn't have any glasses. 2. Violet's hair, one side down, one side braided... Violet=Jamaican? 3. Train. What train? There's no train! 4. Jim Carey. I just hate him. 5. I wanted to see the frog shaped like a church. 6. SPYGLASSES there are no spyglasses ever that's RETARDED. 7. Where was all the funny banter? The whole thing was depressing. That's not what I want to see in a Series of Unfortunate Events. 8. Mr. Poe was fat, British, and didn't cough AT ALL. 9. No one even said the acronym V.F.D. 10. But they did have The Littlest Elf. 11. The Marvelous Marriage was at.... the END of the movie? But it's in the FIRST BOOK! 12. Violet sure tears up a lot. 13. Sunny was the best actor. 14. Because Violet and Klaus sucked. 15. They did have good leeches. 16. Where was the happy clown restaurant? 17. If they were going to just rip out all the good parts to make it 90 minutes, why didn't they just do the first book then? 18. The movie sucked.

So, like, Christmas was cool. We saw a bunch of relatives, several times. I got cool stuff, like Donkey Konga omg, DDR Extreme, and Paper Mario. And, like, a hippy lamp! I love those things! And, a safe? Okay.
We desperately, infinitesimally need to go to the mall, and see a movie maybe, with Courtenay so we can give her her present, before Andrea leaves, because she's not coming back till the middle of January. I'm going to call people.

I got back from the St. Louis trip today. It was so much fun. On Saturday we went to the Arch, and had an extremely bizarre coincidental encounter with Jennifer's Aunt Cindy and cousin Kennedy in the little car that brings you up and down from it. Freaky. I've got pictures. Which cost a little less than a dollar each, as the FUCKING CAMERA COST SIXTEEN DOLLARS. I hate capitalism.
Then we went to the zoo, which was so cool. We saw penguins and bears, but we didn't have time to see anything else which sucked. A nice Swedish lady took pictures of us on a huge beetle sculpture. Sweden is so cool. And we rode the Conservation Carousel.
Then we sang at the Basilica, and Chamber dominated us, which sucked. And then we went to Union Station. Which also kinda sucked, cause we ate Hard Rock Cafe and it was really expensive and then the mall sucked. But it was still fun.
Then today we went to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, and I was totally prepared to make fun of it, but they were like "Actually we have to leave because they don't serve luch till 11." So we were like, "Okay." We went to the gift shop, but I was broke by then.
Then we stopped for lunch at some mall in Kentucky, and Andrea and I played DDR. We dominated everybody. Then Andrea did doubles and dominated further. Everyone was amazed like "whoa. we suck."
Then we came home. I have lots of pictures, most of which are actually on the disposable cameras instead of the digital one.

This weekend=way too busy, didn't study anything. I went to my mom's house on Friday, where I watched Yu Yu Hakusho and went shopping for my teachers because I plan to suck up like crazy the rest of my high school career. Jessica got this way cool H.P. Lovecraft Christmas CD, so we listened to it and sang heartwarming Solstice songs like "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fish-Men," and "Freddy the Red-Brained Mi-Go." I can't wait till Christmas now. All our relatives already think we worship Satan.
On Saturday I went to Andrea's and spent the night, where we played DDR and didn't study chemistry. We watched an obscene amount of SVU - 3 episodes in a row is majorly excessive - but after that the episode of South Park about the Passion came on so it made up for it. Today I did even more Christmas shopping, so I'm set for the week. When I got home, I did my Theater exam project like crazy until about 6:30. I think that's five hours. But I did major overachievement.
Tomorrow's exams = Theater and Theology. Super easy. But that's foiled by Tuesday's exams, Algebra II and Chemistry.

I went to the dermatologist yesterday, and they gave me an assload of new crap to put on my face / ingest. And then I didn't know where the AP homework was found, so I will probably end up doing it during lunch.
South Park is so educational. I now know more than ever about stem cell research.

Patricia came over last night for our project; she was supposed to be there at 5 but she didn't come until 8, which was okay. Then we played with some fun, toxic antifreeze and the freezer, and played DDR and Super Smash Brothers. She brought Konamix, which was okay except it's for PlayStation and I have a PS2, the songs were kind of mediocre and the backgrounds were excessively distracting. We checked our antifreeze every thirty minutes and, against all expectations, it worked. The antifreezes froze one at a time depending on how much was in the solution. The one with the highest amount didn't freeze at all, even when we left it overnight. So our project was a success, and now I need to make some data tables.
My little sister has a rash on her hand that she doesn't know how she got. I laughed at her until she started approaching me, then I screamed and fled.

We had a chorus concert on Thursday. Jennifer held up a sign for me. Today Patricia is coming over so we can work on our Chemistry project, which will probably fail miserably. Oh well.
I'm depressed, because I was looking at the Cambridge admissions requirements and I don't know what GCE means. "For candidates with GCSE and GCE, at least two of these subjects must be at GCE A level; the others in GCSE at grades A, B or C." What the hell does that mean?
It turns out you can get major scholarships there for music, so I might have to start trying.

Thanksgiving was okay. We went to Mamie's and had pre-cooked restaurant food which was okay. Uncle Todd was there, and Uncle Mike and Aunt Sandra and their new baby Danny. Who pooped in his diaper when I held him. I hate children.
Did you guys know that I'm related to Mexicans? Yeah, my Uncle Mike married Sandra, who's Mexican, in Mexico City. And now I have a half-Mexican cousin. Named Daniel Fernandez Tompkins. Is that not the shiznit?
Anyway, then I went to my mom's and we went and saw National Treasure, which had lots of cool explosions. Today I made Jessica come over to my dad's and I showed her my mad DDR skillz. She wasn't impressed. She just doesn't know mad skillz when she sees them. Then she tried out DDR with her less mad skills, which I'm sure will improve with practice once she gets a PS2 and takes back DDR Max. Then I was forced into shopping at Target with my dad and step-mom, even though it's Buy Nothing Day. I didn't buy anything. Just them.
I might go to Andrea's tomorrow. I don't know.

Oh my God, I finished my Chemistry introduction. I am so proud of myself. I feel like an overachiever again, instead of the lazy-ass slacker I really am. Now, to put off doing the rest of my homework until Sunday.
"Turn Around," They Might Be Giants
I was working all night in my office When a man I had recently killed Called me up from a phone near my building So I looked out the window at him He had the same obsequious manner That was the reason I had him killed So to calm my nerves I sang this song To him, over the phone
Turn around, turn around There’s a thing there that can be found Turn around, turn around It’s a human skull on the ground Human skull on the ground Turn around
I was out by myself in the graveyard I was doing an interpretive dance When I felt something heavy and pointed Strike me in the back of the neck And then the ghost of my dance instructor Pushed me down into an open grave And as dirt rained down she played a xylophone And sang me this song
Turn around, turn around There’s a thing there that can be found Turn around, turn around It’s a human skull on the ground Human skull on the ground Turn around
We were waving our arms out the window Of a fast moving passenger train Acting in an irresponsible fashion Until the engineer whose back had been turned And who we thought would find us highly amusing Quickly swiveled his head around And his face which was a paper-white mask of evil Sang us this song
Turn around, (round) turn around (round) There’s a thing there that can be found (there’s a thing there that can be) Turn around, (found) turn around (round) It’s a human skull on the ground (it’s a human skull on the) Human skull (ground) on the ground (round) Turn around (turn around, turn around)

Thankgiving break now. I'm afraid my week is overshadowed by the inescapable Chemistry project that I have to do, that is two weeks late and is causing me to fail Chemistry. AUUUUGH.
Last weekend I went to Model UN in Arkansas. It was okay, I had no people to talk to in my committee, nor any who would speak publicly, so I had no opposition from our school. Russia and the Phillipines dominated that session, like major scary whoa dominated. Sucks for them though, because WHO got Rapporteur? Oh, that would be me. They looked kind of in shock a little, which caused me to experience a warm, fuzzy feeling. Thailand came up and shook my hand, which was little bit weird but okay.
I also got Outstanding Delegate, and a position paper award as part of Libya. Elena also got an Outstanding Delegate, go Elena! She dominated UN Environmental Program. Much to everyone's surprise and disbelief, Lauren didn't get shit. Allison informed me, shaking with rage, that Lauren talked more than anyone in their committee. That sucks a lot. She was really pissed. But then we had a religious debate on the bus, which either shook her faith or caused her to become more pissed. I'm right, though. Lauren's going to be very sad when she dies and finds out there is no afterlife. Actually, she won't be because she'll be dead.
I wrote an English response journal in iambic pentameter, but Mrs. Vooys STILL likes Conor more than me. He has to be sleeping with her.
Andrea made SATB All-State Chorus! I am so happy for her. However, Meredith and Allie made mid-state, so either it's not that hard or mid-state, as Jen informed me, is the pity choir.
My sister got Black Adder. Finally, soon, I can see the show I've been desiring for six months.
Yes.

I went to my little sister's cheerleading competition today. We got there late so we missed the first couple groups, but they all had to go again later anyway. St. Joseph won first place, of course, as always. It's funny how we have the best cheerleaders but the worst football team. Sarah did great and they only messed up once where the sign saying "GO" was upside down. But that was okay, because Overbrook dropped someone.
